Creating a better future via innovation-driven and talent-led strategy
On June 5, 2025, the signing ceremony for the "Guangyuan Economic Development Zone Source-Grid-Load-Storage Integration + AI Virtual Power Plant" project, a collaboration between Jiawei Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. and the authorities, was successfully held in Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. This project is a key step fr Jiawei Renewable Energy in implementing the national "Dual Carbon" strategy and deepening its strategic layout in Sichuan, a region of national strategic importance. It also represents a significant practical achievement of deep cooperation between the company and local government.

Leadership Presence, High-Level Promotion
He Shuping, Secretary of the Guangyuan Municipal Party Committee, attended the signing ceremony and delvered an important speech. Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Yuan Huabing presided over the ceremony. Municipal Standing Committee Member and Secretary-General Long Zhaoxue, Vice Mayor Wu Yong, and heads of relevant municipal departments attended the meeting. Wu Tonghai, CEO of Jiawei Renewable Energy, Liu Jie, Deputy General Manager, and heads of the company's Southwest region were also present at the signing ceremony.
Project Overview, Comprehensive Layout

According to the agreement, Jiawei Renewable Energy plans to invest in and construct the following core components in the Guangyuan Economic Development Zone:
· Utilize rooftops of government departments, schools, hospitals, municipal infrastructure, and commercial/industrial buildings in the Guangyuan Economic Development Zone to build approximately 200 MW of distributed photovoltaic facilities. Upon completion, the project is expected to provide 200 million kWh of clean electricity annually.
· Construct approximately 400 MWh of user-side energy storage projects.
· Build approximately 200 MW/400 MWh of independent energy storage power stations and supporting grid facilities. These will be used for new energy generation-side energy storage leasing, grid-side peak shaving and frequency regulation, user-side demand response, and peak/off-peak power supply, among other applications.
· Construct approximately 50 MW of integrated solar-storage-charging supercharging stations.
· Build an AI-based virtual power plant hardware platform and intelligent control system.
By establishing a full-chain system encompassing "Source (new energy), Grid (smart grid), Load (user load), Storage (energy storage system) + AI intelligent dispatch (virtual power plant)," this project will effectively enhance the flexibility, resilience, and clean energy regulation capacity of the regional power grid.
Promising Prospects, Mutually Beneficial Win-Win
The Guangyuan project possesses inherent advantages. Currently, both the national and Sichuan provincial governments strongly support policies promoting "source-grid-load-storage integration." As an energy security base for the Chengdu-Chongqing region, Guangyuan is rich in clean energy resources and hosts clusters of new material industries such as aluminum-based and silicon-based materials. The growing demand for energy conservation, emission reduction, lowering comprehensive energy costs, and improving energy utilization efficiency provides a rich application scenario and solid market foundation for the project's implementation.
Wu Tonghai, CEO of Jiawei Renewable Energy, stated that the signing is the result of deep mutual trust and sincere cooperation between both parties. Jiawei Renewable Energy will work with the Guangyuan Economic Development Zone to build a "zero-carbon park," establish a new-type power system, improve the investment environment, reduce costs and increase efficiency for enterprises, and achieve high-quality development. After the project signing, Jiawei Renewable Energy will immediately form a dedicated project team, leveraging its capital and technological advantages. With "Shenzhen Speed," the company will advance the project construction with high standards and quality, aiming to create an industry benchmark, contribute Jiawei's strength to Guangyuan's green and low-carbon economic development, and achieve a dual harvest of economic and social benefits.
