On November 20, 2025, Mr. Wu Tonghai, CEO of Jiawei Renewable Energy Co., Ltd., led a delegation to Jinan for meetings with Ms. Dang Ngoc Linh, President of Vietnam Hoàn Nguyên Thế Giới Group, and Mr. Xu Dengfeng, Vice General Manager of PowerChina Shandong Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. The three parties held in-depth discussions on the development and cooperation of wind power and smart city projects in Vietnam and successfully signed a strategic cooperation agreement for a 1 GW wind power project in Vietnam.

This collaboration brings together the respective strengths of Chinese and Vietnamese enterprises. The total project investment exceeds 10 billion Chinese Yuan, covering multiple wind power projects within Vietnam along with supporting energy storage systems and grid connection infrastructure. The three parties will fully leverage their advantages in capital, technology, local resources, and engineering implementation to jointly promote the successful development, investment, construction, and operation of wind power projects in Vietnam.
